Cobble Hill

" For a community to be whole and healthy, it must be based on people's love and concern for each other. "

Millard Fuller

Cobble Hill is a small farming community located 45 kilometres north of Victoria. Part of the Cowichan Valley, Cobble Hill is home to 1,800 permanent residents.

First settled in the late 1800’s, Cobble Hill became a bustling railway community until the 1940’s. The agricultural history of Cobble Hill is still evident today in the quaint fall fair and the many farms and now vineyards that cover the rolling countryside.

Cobble Hill is well known for its mountain biking trails. It is also a popular destination for hikers and horseback riding. Some of the local trails are part of the Trans Canada Trail system. Cobble Hill has its own golf course.
